If you are new to this area or are no longer happy with your current dentist, Fromuth and Langlois Dental Associates are the best in the Bedford NH area by far. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with smiles from the front end staff. I have been a patient of theirs for well over 30 years and I have seen little or no change in the entire staff which says a lot. From the hygienists, Susan and Gail, to Dr Langlois and his assistant Stephanie to Dr Fromuth and his assistant Karen, you will always be in good hands...and the best thing is that everyone makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. AND, THEY PLAY THE BEST MUSIC THROUGHOUT THE OFFICES!

FAQs

How do I find the best place to get dental work done?

It’s only natural to want to find a provider you can trust to help you build and maintain the happiest, healthiest version of your smile. But many patients struggle to find someone they feel comfortable with.

Although a quick internet search often produces a list of local results, you might not know how to pick one out of the many available options. If you’re struggling, it might help to write down your main priorities. For instance, are you seeking someone who accepts your insurance or offers specific services? Do you need care for yourself or also for your family? Answering these questions can help you find a provider who checks off the right boxes.

What if I’m too anxious to visit the dentist?

You’re not alone if your dental anxiety has prevented you from scheduling everything from routine checkups to more complex procedures. Fortunately, Dr. Fromuth understands that you might be nervous, and offers multiple options for sedation.

For example, he can provide nitrous oxide (laughing gas) that is inhaled through a mask that’s placed over your nose while he works. The effects kick in almost immediately and leave your system just as quickly once the mask if removed.

If that’s not feasible, he also offers oral conscious sedation in the form of a prescribed pill that you’ll be directed to take before you arrive, so that the medication kicks in by the time our team starts your procedure.

How much does a dental checkup and cleaning cost in Bedford, NH?

If it’s been a while since your last routine exam, you might avoid scheduling one if you’re unsure how much it will cost. Usually, patients near Bedford can expect to pay between $100 and $200 for a checkup and cleaning, though the cost can vary significantly based on your unique circumstances.

For instance, if you have dental insurance, up to 100% of your visit could be covered, meaning that you owe nothing out of pocket. However, if Dr. Fromuth finds any issues, such as cavities or gum disease, you’ll be responsible for the cost of treatment.

What do I do if I can’t afford dental care?

Our office near Bedford gladly welcomes dental PPO insurance plans, but we understand that not everyone carries a policy. If you’re concerned about paying for your appointment, you might benefit from one of the following options:

  • In-house membership. For a flat monthly fee, you gain access to standard preventive services, such as exams, cleanings, and X-rays, as well as 10% discount on most other procedures offered in the office.
  • Flexible financing. We also have partnered with CareCredit to offer flexible payment plans. If your application is approved, you can divide your total invoice into more manageable installments over a designated period.

What level of education is required to become a dentist?

Dentists must meet specific criteria to be licensed to work with patients. For example, they usually must earn a bachelor’s degree before completing a DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) or DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from one of 70+ institutions accredited by the ADA (American Dental Association). Then, they can choose to focus on one of the twelve officially recognized specialty topics.

At our office near Bedford, Dr. Fromuth earned his DDS with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before completing a General Practice Residency at the Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania.

Today, he remains committed to continuing education and participates with prestigious organizations, such as the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and the American Dental Association.
